On the next pages we introduce SpeedCal, a test bench for piston stroke pipettes. 

The SpeedCal was developed by Fraunhofer-Institut für Silicatforschung ISC with the targets:

- increase of efficiency
- increase of quality

for the calibration of piston stroke pipettes.

By using of SpeedCal the measurement period is significant reduced. A result of this is an extensive cost reduction for the calibration process. The quality level of calibration will be increased at the same time.
