SpeedCal is designed for testing of piston pipettes with a nominal volume of 10 µl to 1,2 ml. The test is performed gravimetrically according to DIN EN ISO 8655. 

• With SpeedCal the test volumes of water are pipetted simultaneously into up to 12 weighing tubes placed next to each other.
• The filled tubes are weighed automatically in parallel with a 12-channel balance.
  
• The time required to test a 12-channel pipette (=360 singular measurements) is reduced to 10 minutes (operating time of the test unit, plus a total of approximately two to five minutes for the manual pipetting).
• The testing process is fully automated, except pipetting.
• The integrated catch for evaporation guarantees a highest possible accuracy.
• A comprehensive test protocol (single values, average value, standard deviation) is prepared automatically by the connected computer.
